The False Testimony of Dr. Edward J Connor Psy D, Child Custody Evaluator

Why would a professional hired to protect children intentionally try to harm to them?

In a letter dated September 9, 2008, Dr. Connor informed me of the following:

"With regard to the Office Policy Statement, we do not have a signed Office Policy Statement for you on file. It appears you were not provided with this document when you initially came to our office, which was an oversight on the part of the office staff. Nevertheless, the Office Policy Statement is simply an adjunct document to the Court order in which you and Ms. Brewington agreed to participate fully in a custody evaluation to be conducted at this office."

On May 27, 2009, Dr. Connor gave the following testimony in court:

"There was a form that was incorrectly given to Ms. Brewington from our secretary at the time, who is no longer with us."

When I questioned Dr. Connor on whether the Office Policy Statement was an "adjunct document to Court order", Dr. Connor stated:

"It's an adjunct -- it's not an adjunct to a court order. It's -- it's adjacent to what we do when people come in. They fill out forms for the evaluation to participate in." -Dr. Connor's testimony in the transcripts from the May 27, 2009 hearing.

The Indiana Rules of Evidence under Article 607. Who May Impeach states:

"The credibility of a witness may be attacked by any party, including the party calling the witness."

Dr. Edward J Connor made numerous conflicting and nonsensical statements during the course of his involvement in my divorce. During the course of the cross-examination, Judge James D Humphrey continued to cut me off and allowed Dr. Connor to make rambling statements that did not pertain to my questions. Judge Humphrey would not allow me to ask Dr. Connor questions about the ex parte communications Dr. Connor had with the previous Judge. Prior to the May 27, 2009 hearing, Dr. Connor alleged that there was a order from the Court that prevented him from releasing the case file from the custody evaluation. Despite there being no such order, Judge Humphrey cut me off when I asked Dr. Connor if he was in possession of a protective order that stated he was not permitted to release the file to me. Despite make a number of false and derogatory statements, Dr. Connor stated that he did not have any problems with me caring for the girls on the days that my Ex worked. Even though Dr. Connor stated that I was capable of being a responsible parent, Judge James D Humphrey terminated all of my parenting time with my daughters. Judge James D Humphrey of the Dearborn County Indiana Circuit Court stated:

"The Court is most concerned about Husband's irrational behavior and attacks on Dr. Connor. Frankly it appears that these attacks have been an attempt at revenge for taking a position regarding custody contrary to Husband."- Judge James D Humphrey in the August 18, 2009 Final Decree

Click on the below link to get an understanding how Judge Humphrey terminated my time with my children because I revealed that the Court's expert did not tell the truth. If you are new to the story, I am the one cross examining Dr. Connor and it was my first time cross examining a forensic psychologist. For the record, I am not a lawyer.

Rather than "play by the rules" and get my own professional witness to dispute Dr. Connor's "professional opinion" I directly addressed the ethics and conduct of Dr. Connor. Judge James D Humphrey probably thought that he could get away with his ruling because of the way he supported his opinions in the Final Decree. Judge Humphrey didn't count on me posting the testimony of Dr. Edward J Connor on the internet in an effort to make the public aware that Judge Humphrey turned his back on Dr. Connor's unethical/illegal conduct and punished my children to protect the Court's expert.

For those people who bring into question "the best interest of the children" in regards to me posting parts of the Court record on the internet, please remember that I haven't seen my children since August 19, 2009 because Judge James Humphrey ruled that it was in the best interest of the children not to see their father, based on Dr. Connor's testimony. Please discern for yourselves if exposing evil people in the family court system is in the best interest of all children.
